Our team is mostly comprised of optimists and we are often asked where all this optimism comes from and often these questions have led to enlightening conversations and so we decided to ask others in our community where they feel their optimism comes from?

I would have to say that my optimism comes from my personal growth over the last few years. My name is Elizabeth Williams, aka CEOLIZZZ. To me, the CEO means “Constantly Evolving Overtime” because, over the last few years, that’s exactly what I’ve done and will continue to do. I am a 30-year-old small-town girl from Dumas, Arkansas, with big dreams. Growing up, I never saw myself as an entrepreneur, but I knew I wanted to be a BOSS. Read more>>

My optimism comes from my faith & trust in God. Knowing that if today wasn’t all that good, I know that tomorrow will be greater. I’ve experienced some setbacks and learned a lot of lessons. But once I got over those obstacles, hurt, and disappointments…there was always something greater on the other side! So that’s where it comes from and what keeps me optimistic! Read more>>

Optimism is a choice. It’s something that I believe is hard for a lot of people. Life gets hard, and choosing to be optimistic is the hardest when we are in the middle of a valley in life. I would be lying if I said I was optimistic 100% of the time, because nobody is perfect. It takes just as much energy to be negative as it does to be positive. Life is easier when you choose to be optimistic, and I believe success starts when you start believing in yourself. Read more>>

Looking at the glass half full instead of half empty is a choice, and I think I figured that out over the course life. I use to make a fool of myself all the time as a kid by wearing my heart on my sleeve and saying how I felt about things. After always feeling bad that people didn’t like who I was or didn’t see how I saw things, or tease me for being different I realized I felt better and did better when I did what was true for me first. You do better when you go into things with good intentions. Being a worry wart or fear full person only gets you what you fear the most to come true. Read more>>

I wish I could take credit for this but this all stems from my upbringing and how my mom raised me. My mom is a firm believer in “things don’t JUST HAPPEN they HAPPEN JUST how they are supposed to”. For as long as I remember she’s been telling me sayings such as that and things like “wake up every morning and look in the mirror and tell yourself ‘I Love You’”. Read more>>

my optimism comes from my parents because it’s genetic and to that is added the education they had to give me, and all the advice they gave me my favorite is the following (when it’s hard only the hard ones advance, so whatever the difficulty, keep your head up and persevere to achieve your goals) Read more>>

Optimism is a quality I really got to know in my thirties, though I wish I would have embraced it much earlier on in life. In my late teens and twenties I was quite the pessimist and I carried a huge chip on my shoulder. This burden I was toting around held me back in ways but I also feel as if though it helped me gain a greater appreciation for how far I’ve come. Read more>>

This build was a large structure inside a hotel in San Fransico. We were tasked with building a space for people to take a break in between keynote speeches to relax and network. The structure consisted of several upright columns creating three connecting circles, one large are and two smaller on the exterior. Each column has moss on one side and led lighting on the other to symbolize a tree in the forest where the sun hits onside and moss grows on the other. Read more>>

I think my optimism comes from the dog community. It’s such a strong bond and structure. Everyone who works or volunteers in the animal welfare field has such a passion in what they do. It brings me joy to see animals find a forever home! Read more>>

It’s hard to say! I’ve always been an optimistic person at heart, but I suppose my optimism fuels my drive and zeal when it comes to working in a studio with my peers. At the end of the day, we all want to try our best and make something cool. Read more>>

It might be a philosophical cliche, but every time you wake up each morning you have an opportunity to be productive. To move your life in a direction that helps you travel from point A to point B. If you take advantage of each day to stay on course, (even if it’s only a small task) You’ll not only make your life less stressful, it also can create momentum. Momentum is the secret sauce. You don’t want to lose this important ingredient. Read more>>

I was raised by two parents who showed me throughout my life that with hard work and faith, anything that you want to achieve in life can be accomplished. They were my biggest cheerleaders anytime I talked about what I wanted to do. My father, John Royal, who we lost to covid, constantly reminded me that both he and my mother stood behind me and they were always going to push me into whatever dream it was that I had. Read more>>

I am a firm believer in what you put out into the world will come back to you. I’ve been fortunate throughout my life to be consistently surrounded by uplifting and supportive people. Optimism can come from within or be impressed upon you. I find that my optimism comes from finding joy in the little things and moments of life. I feel that “normal” things in life are often overlooked and not appreciated for how amazing they are. Read more>>
