We’re looking forward to introducing you to Vero G. . Check out our conversation below.

Vero , so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
What I love to do outside of work that brings me joy is being a mom, raising my son, and seeing him through his own milestones. It really makes me feel like I did a good job.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am a multi-award-winning recording artist. I have been doing music as an artist for over 15 years. Music has always been my calling since I was 7 years old. I have released over 7 albums and several singles. Working on my next album, which will be my 8th album, Self Love that will be released by 2026. Besides being an artist, I am also a community activist, Actress, Model, Songwriter, Poet, Radio & TV Personality, and much more. What I do in my field of work in the entertainment industry that makes it unique is to reach people through my music and to heal at the same time. To inspire others to pursue their own dreams as well. Also, I have an inspiring story as being from homelessness, pregnant, and being a survivor of Domestic Violence and other situations. I have also written a book about these ordeals in my life.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
The earliest memory I felt powerful was when I overcame Domestic Violence with my past partner and had to overcome those obstacles. It was not an easy task to deal with, as the trauma and how it has affected me after it.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yes, there were many times when I wanted to give up on my personal life in things I was overcoming, and also other factors. But through God, he had pushed me to continue in my journey, and the faith I had gained really made me the person I am today.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes, the public version of myself is the real me. I never pretended nor acted differently at all. What you see is what you get. I have been true to myself and others around me.

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
I believe they will misunderstand me on my legacy as how I had managed to stay strong through the toughest encounters I had dealt with, to have kept my head up high and to never give up.
