One thing I think is often misunderstood about my business is that video marketing is “just making videos.” In reality, what we do goes far beyond producing visually polished content. At its core, our work is about storytelling and strategy — understanding who a brand is, what they stand for, and how to translate that into content that actually moves their audience to take action. A beautifully shot video without purpose or strategy won’t deliver results, and that’s where people sometimes underestimate the depth of what we do. Read More>>

This past year has been especially meaningful, rich with milestones and soulful fulfillment. I presented two solo exhibitions, each a carefully curated world of color and presence—immersive spaces where people could not only view my art but step inside it and connect with it on a sensory level. My work was also accepted into two prestigious juried exhibitions—a rare honor for a self-taught artist—and I expanded into new galleries where my paintings now live year-round. I’ve also been fortunate to donate pieces to causes close to my heart, because I believe art should not only beautify spaces, but also serve and uplift people and communities. Read More>>

I’m incredibly proud of the Takisha A. Davis Scholarship as we celebrate its fifth year! This initiative has not only provided financial support but has also cultivated a vibrant community of scholars who inspire each other to strive for excellence. It’s heartwarming to see our scholars thrive both academically and personally, creating lasting friendships along the way. Their commitment to success and their willingness to support one another during the competition truly exemplifies the spirit of this scholarship. Read More>>

Lately I have felt more and more challenged to share about why I create and what I feel called to do with my art. I feel compelled to paint what I understand (often vaguely) God compels me to paint and how I go about it–what inspires me and how I turn those inspirations into paintings. I used to think that a work of art could stand alone, that those who are meant to appreciate it or understand it would automatically “get it.” Now, I think that may happen rarely, but more likely people prefer some context and background about where the ideas originated. My day begins with a morning mantra which sets the tone for my day and then followed by a cup of joe. I organize my to do list I research new pitches or campaigns for existing clients. The biggest misunderstanding of my business is that its just a garnish. In a way, this offends me and the brand. Simply put-a garnish seems decorative and lacks functionality. The main component of CR Citrus is to connect with your beverage. From the initial loft of smoke to the transference of flavor from fruit to beverage the journey is intentional and essential. Right now, I’m learning from Dan Martell. I recently read his book Buy Back Your Time—and while many of the concepts weren’t entirely new, the way he framed them, along with the actionable tools and step-by-step guidance, really hit differently. It helped me see time and delegation through a sharper lens. I’ve since joined his elite coaching group, and I’m already absorbing so much—especially around expanding my mindset, thinking bigger, and not being afraid to want more for myself and my business. This is a great icebreaker! As stoic as I tend to be for such a lovey dovey type of person, I believe a general struggle that others deal with but never say anything about is love. Whether it’s lack of finding genuineness in another individual or maybe actually finding and connecting in love, sometimes our environments, people we call friends or family, or the social space doesn’t offer safe energy to encourage opening up about it even if one feels safe within their relationship or one’s own skin. I believe this concept applies to both platonic and intimate relationships. Read More>>

I’m up around 6:30 a.m. and start my day with movement, either a gym session or a walk, followed by reading and personal development. Breakfast is always avocado toast with an egg before I’m at my desk by 9:00.
I tackle my revenue‑generating tasks first, then spend the rest of the day on client calls, meetings, or creative projects. I usually wrap by 4:00, take another walk, make dinner, and spend the evening with my fiancé…lately, that’s meant a lot of wedding planning, which is super fun! Read More>>

Right now, I’m juggling many responsibilities as I lead the creation of a new program focused on building resiliency for our American Heroes while also managing the daily operations of our growing nonprofit. As we expand our reach and touch more lives, I’m working hard to balance innovation with sustainability, ensuring that both our new initiatives and our existing programs receive the attention they deserve. I’m working hard to balance it all so we can make the biggest impact possible. Read More>>

Ah yes… losing track of time is practically one of my superpowers, thanks to my delightfully neurospicy brain. When I lock in on something that lights me up – whether it’s writing, creating, or plotting world domination through hope and happiness – I fall down the hyperfocus rabbit hole. Hours? Gone. Reality? Optional. I don’t even notice the sun setting or my legs going numb until something external yanks me back to earth – like one of our kittens strolling across my keyboard mid-epiphany, or my phone erupting with a text that somehow feels like it came from another dimension. What’s a “normal day”?
Honestly, every day is a little different—but most mornings start the same. Around 7:30 AM, I begin with prayer to center myself. I then spend about 20 minutes reviewing the analytics from the previous day’s content across all my platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube). Based on what the data tells me, I choose a topic, determine the content format (skit, talking-head, reaction video, etc.), and dive into shooting, editing, and scheduling. My goal is to have everything wrapped up by 9:00 AM so I can shift into my full-time role as a Content Strategist. Read More>>
