I was raised in a spiritual family. God was always the center of my life. In the environments in which I was raised (multiple countries), not allowed freedom of religion. I recently decided to reset my mindset to a pretty simple and seemingly obvious thought process. “We are all going to die.. and it can happen at any time”. I think my optimism is a little bit of a defense mechanism…I’m always worried that something absolutely horrible is going to happen, so if I’m relentlessly optimistic, that really helps fight off that worry. But other than that, I’ve always seen life to have a lot of potential. I feel like there is a lot of space in life for things to be done and space for new things to be made. Read more>>

I think my optimism comes from the fact that I realized how important your thoughts really are. Your thoughts determine so much of the outcome in anything you are trying to achieve and do, so I can’t stress enough how important it is to remain positive and optimistic. If you look at almost if not every successful person, you can see how their thoughts about themselves and what they wanted to accomplish, along with their optimism is what got them to where they are. I think that my optimism comes from my dad. He taught me to laugh a LOT. Growing up, he would always make funny faces or funny voices at me. And he loved making my friends laugh. I don’t know if I have a true answer for this. Optimism is something that I feel everyone has, it’s almost just a matter of how much people suppress theirs. My optimism comes from the fact that I never wanted to pursue a music career. Music has always been something I enjoyed from a consumer aspect.
