Meet Samuel Coyer

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Samuel Coyer. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Samuel, so excited to talk about all sorts of important topics with you today. The first one we want to jump into is about being the only one in the room – for some that’s being the only person of color or the only non-native English speaker or the only non-MBA, etc Can you talk to us about how you have managed to be successful even when you were the only one in the room that looked like you?

Branding Yourself
Everyone is unique in their own way. Being able to infuse my personality into my work has helped me stand out from the crowd. People are great at detecting insincerity, so in business, authenticity matters. By running your business in a way that’s true to who you are, people will recognize and appreciate your genuine approach.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I own a pressure washing business specializing in the care and upkeep of both residential and commercial properties. Every day, I take pride in the work I do, grateful for the chance to enhance and restore the beauty and cleanliness of our community. As we continue to grow, we’re excited to expand our services and further support the homes and businesses in our area!

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Just start. As easy as it sounds people stay on the edge of just doing what needs to be done!

Fail. Being able to fail is the best life lesson to help grow and expand your business. You never know unless you try.

Be better. Do better. As you fail and learn from your mistakes track those mistakes and learn how to become better at what you previously struggled with.

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?

100 Million Dollar Leads. By Alex Hormozi.

He expressed the importance on VOLUME. If something in your business isn’t working JUST DO MORE. Most likely you aren’t doing enough. Do 10x, 100x etc. Until you see the growth you want.
