Hi Serenity, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?

From my trials and errors. The obstacles and challenges. The tribulations leading to new found knowledge and experience. All in which during my experience as an entrepreneur has not torn me down but showed me how strong I am. It has showed me what I am passionate about and how passionate I am. It shows me I am worthy and I am valuable so it pushes me to never let go or give up. All of the obstacles and hurdles I’ve overcome has stretched my work ethic to a point where I’ll never give up but I will take breaks because everyone deserves them

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I am a holistic handmade herbal Selfcare and wellness brand CEO and founder. I have taken on the task to encourage all individuals especially women and individuals of indigenous descent to bask in their natural beauty. By way of emphasizing the importance of self care, internal health, and ample rest. This started from me creating my own DIY hair products as I wanted to save money and care for my hair with less chemicals while being creative. I had yet to find that it was also a form of creativity for me. It then expanded into hair care and accessories that would also enhance one’s natural features and appearance. After some months of research, I quickly became very keen on quality products, sustainability, and. non toxic products. I was already aiming to make plant based products, and this just confirmed the goal. I began to learn how to make more herbal based products and incorporate them into products which leads to all the creativity and spirituality. Now we combine these factors to make products that would be filled with love and knowledge of ancestral culture. We share educational resources and host classes and events to reinforce community around Selfcare and wellbeing.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Patience
Persistence
Confidence

I think that the best advice would be to not be hesitant on your dreams and desires because they aren’t coming to you for nothing. The more you hold off because of perfection and waiting on “the right time” the easier your dreams become farther and you no longer have the energy to carry it out. From now on . Just do it! To the best of your ability, start it, start promoting it and evolve as you go and as you start to make earnings. Yes packaging , customer experience and stuff like that is important but don’t let that hinder you from ever making the first move. These are the keys because each and every one goes into what I said. Having the confidence to even carry out your ideas is the most essential part honestly. This is the umbrella For everything else to fall in line. The confidence in yourself and your value comes first . No matter how imperfect things may seem, keep being consistent. The consistency willl get you the MONey okay. And that will allow you to expand or rebrand you are totally allowed to evolve, people want to see it too. It creates more of a journey when you start and are able to evolve. And patience is always necessary during the process. Without it, you’ll be stumbled and easily overwhelmed or hindered from your goals . Especially if you’re seeking constant perfection. When perfection is less of the goal where we want to focus on progress and growth. Have the patience and watch your business or artistry grow as long as you put the energy in and maintain consistent

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?

I want to collaborate with more naturalist, holistic, spiritualists, yoga and breathwork teachers, all people healing and health indulgent. These people are apart of the community I am apart of and continue to serve and want to expand on. I want to collaborate with these individuals on ideas and conversation and even using my products and also creating day I connect with a local gardener then I can possibly collaborate with them on an herbal good like a tea or powder for smoothies.
