Meet Chris Lavish

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Chris Lavish . We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Chris below.

Chris , looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?

Since I was in high school I was always keeping busy and was fascinated with fashion. My father was always an early riser and my mother always worked weekends so it was something I learned,

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

Hey everyone, it’s Chris Lavish here, your go-to guy for all things fashion and street style. I’m all about pushing the boundaries and setting trends that make people stop and take notice. Whether I’m hitting the front rows at Fashion Week, collaborating with top designers, or just living my life with style, it’s always about staying ahead of the curve and making a statement. Building my personal brand along with FashionWeekOnline has been a beautiful struggle.

What’s most exciting about what I do? It’s the sheer energy and creativity that flows through every part of this industry. Fashion is constantly evolving, and being at the forefront of that change is electrifying. From the runway to the streets, seeing how different cultures, ideas, and personal styles collide and create something entirely new is truly special. Plus, the connections and friendships I’ve built with incredibly talented individuals all over the world are invaluable.

Right now, I’ve got some amazing things in the pipeline. I’ve been working on a new collaborations with emerging designers and wellness brands,

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, I’d say the three qualities that were most impactful in my journey are creativity, networking, and resilience.

1. Creativity: This is the core of everything in fashion. Being able to see things differently and bring unique ideas to the table is what sets you apart. My advice for anyone starting out is to always keep pushing your creative boundaries. Don’t be afraid to take risks and experiment with new styles and concepts. Keep an open mind and draw inspiration from everything around you – art, culture, music, and even everyday life.

2. Networking: Fashion is as much about the people as it is about the clothes. Building a strong network of connections within the industry is crucial. Attend events, reach out to people, and always be genuine in your interactions. Remember, it’s not just about what others can do for you, but also what you can bring to the table. Collaboration and mutual support are key.

3. Resilience: The fashion world can be tough and unpredictable. There will be setbacks and challenges, but resilience is what will carry you through. Stay true to your vision and keep pushing forward, no matter what obstacles come your way. Learn from your failures and use them as stepping stones to success.

For those early in their journey, focus on honing these skills. Keep your creative juices flowing, build meaningful relationships, and never let setbacks deter you. Stay passionate and persistent – that’s what will make all the difference.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

At the moment I feel the people I need to collaborate or partner with will find me. My best partnerships in the past have been people I met randomly and was not expecting to have long collaborations with. My main overall goal would be to be partners with all fashion weeks around the world.
