Meet Christian Di Cesare

We recently connected with Christian Di Cesare and have shared our conversation below.

Christian, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?

I’d say my work ethic comes from a mix of passion and necessity. I’ve always been driven by a deep love for making music, and that passion keeps me motivated. During the pandemic, when things were a bit uncertain, I decided to channel my energy into my music. Seeing the positive response from my YouTube channel, like gaining subscribers and views, really fueled my drive. Plus, I’ve always believed that consistency is key, so I make sure to stay disciplined and keep pushing forward every day.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

Hey, I’m Christian Di Cesare otherwise known as Takezo Beats, a 19-year-old producer from Melbourne, Australia. For the past five years, I’ve been dedicated to creating and sharing music.

What I find most special about what I do is the ability to connect with people through my music. Each beat is a piece of my creativity and hard work, and seeing how it resonates with others is incredibly rewarding. Consistency is a big part of my approach—I believe that regularly sharing new content keeps me connected with my audience and helps me grow as an producer.

Right now, I’m focused on continuing to deliver high-quality music and exploring new ideas. I’m always looking for ways to expand my reach and experiment with different styles, so stay tuned for some exciting new content and possibly some collaborations in the near future.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Reflecting on my journey, I’d say three key qualities have been especially impactful: dedication, adaptability, and a strong understanding of the craft.

Dedication: Consistently posting new content and putting in the hours has been crucial. It’s not just about talent but also about showing up every day. For those starting out, my advice is to establish a routine and stick to it. Even when it feels challenging, staying dedicated will help you build momentum and credibility.

Adaptability: The music industry and online platforms are constantly evolving. Being open to experimenting with different styles, techniques, and trends has helped me stay relevant and grow my channel. If you’re early in your journey, don’t be afraid to try new things and adjust based on feedback and trends. Flexibility can lead to new opportunities and insights.

Understanding the Craft: Deepening my knowledge of music production and the technical aspects of beatmaking has been essential. I invested time in learning about sound design, mixing, and mastering. For beginners, I recommend dedicating time to learning the fundamentals of your craft and continuously seeking to improve. Online tutorials, courses, and practice are great ways to enhance your skills.

How would you spend the next decade if you somehow knew that it was your last?

Yes, right now, I’m grappling with maintaining the level of consistency that has been a cornerstone of my success. It’s starting to feel more like a business obligation than a passion project, which is making it challenging to stay motivated. The daily grind of creating and posting content has become overwhelming, and I’m not seeing the same level of success I once did. This shift is making it harder to keep up the same drive and enthusiasm.
