Meet Gregory Kopp

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Gregory Kopp a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Gregory, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

My idea for my consulting services business sprang from the dot-com and social media revolutions which transformed our lives and our business fundamentals which in turn helped me find my purpose. My company’s clients, including small non-profit organizations and a diversified worldwide entertainment company with operations in three segments: Entertainment, Sports and Experiences, based in Los Angeles; are the driving force behind my success. Especially my unique role as an entertainment industry social media Talent Ambassador whose efforts successfully resulted in over 4600 job views and 2100 talent application submissions.

My company’s support for these clients and candidates allow them to share their talents and work products with the world – making it a better place!! As a result, my company has been recognized with multiple business management consulting awards and praise from the business media.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

As a result of my company’s industry recognition, this has allowed my artistic and creative talents to blossom with my writing and subsequent publication of the exciting and sweeping “Kopp Chronicles” series of historical fiction novels. These novels are derived from my own immigrant American family’s history and intermingle romance, mystery, and action-packed thrilling historical elements to entertain and intrigue readers worldwide.

The “Kopp Chronicles” series of novels have received recognition from readers, authors, and international publishing entities via social media and award programs, including for example, “The Heiress in Kent” (volume 5) of the “Kopp Chronicles” which received glowing reviews in “Publishers Weekly”; and by Readers’ Favorite website, respected by renowned publishers such as Random House, Simon & Schuster and Harper Collins. The “Kopp Chronicles” novels have also been nominated for “Reader’s Choice Awards” and been recognized for “Book Covers of the Month” multiple times. The “Kopp Chronicles” series of novels are now available in major chain bookstores including Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Waterstones, Blackwells, Books a Million, Los Angeles’s own The Last Bookstore and other independent bookshops in 5 different languages worldwide. My latest exciting novel will be coming out in 2026 with planned eBook and paperback distribution in bookstores worldwide.

I am also especially proud that the State of California public library systems added the “Kopp Chronicles” novels for their patrons to enjoy in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Francisco, San Jose, San Diego, Sacramento, Riverside County, San Bernadino County and many more libraries. They can be downloaded through a variety of digital platforms including Overdrive/Libby, Hoopla digital, Bibliotheca Cloud Library, BorrowBox, Odilo and Axis360. In addition to California and thousands of other United States public libraries, the “Kopp Chronicles” historical fiction novels are also available in Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Europe, South America, Africa, Australia, and Hong Kong with more libraries worldwide acquiring the novels every day.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

I have realized that the same events faced by me and my readers in our daily lives and careers also shaped our ancestors and many historical royal and political figures. I try to incorporate my deeply personal stories with some of these uncannily similar current events and intermingle them with romance, mystery, and action-packed thrilling elements in my novels. This method of writing allows my readers and I to experience a shared sense of history. Which in turn, also helps me guide and support entertainment industry potential job candidates in my social media recruiting.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?

The next steps in my creative journey are to adapt my sweeping “Kopp Chronicles” historical romance fiction saga to film or TV, and I am looking forward to collaborating with creative minds to help achieve that vision. Information about the media rights for my novels are listed on the Rightscenter comprehensive database (https://www.rightscenter.com) and the Ingram Content Group’s MediaScout and DataSource platforms (http://www.ingramcontent.com). These platforms allow indie filmmakers or major studios executives to work with their expert research teams of former development executives, media rights agents, managers and Hollywood book scouts to find literary IP before an opportunity is lost.

My readers are looking forward to enjoy seeing their favorite historical figures from the “Kopp Chronicles” series in live action.
