Meet Jayson Benjamin

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jayson Benjamin. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Jayson with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?

My work ethic comes from my upbringing and early work experiences. My parents taught me the value of hard work, perseverance, and integrity from a young age. They encouraged my brother and me to dive into entrepreneurship and real estate, which ignited my passion for it. By grade school, I understood real estate transactions and contracts because my parents involved us in the process.

Additionally, my early government work shaped my work ethic, teaching me reliability and responsibility while working with people of all nationalities.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I’m passionate about real estate, and my focus is on helping people find their perfect homes and assisting sellers in listing and selling their properties. With a strong background in customer service, I’ve developed the skills to build lasting relationships, and nothing compares to the joy of seeing someone find their dream home or a seller successfully closing a sale.

What excites me most is my deep love for real estate. I thrive on the challenge of matching people with the right properties, whether they’re looking to buy or sell. I also bring a creative touch to my work by combining my passion for real estate with a personalized approach. I focus on showcasing the unique features of each property and highlighting the vibrant communities they belong to. This helps potential buyers and sellers connect with the lifestyle that each home offers, making the process more meaningful and engaging for everyone involved.

I’ve also gained valuable insights from watching my parents build and trademark a brand, with their products now selling on Walmart. That experience taught me how to build and trademark a brand myself, so if you have any questions about branding or if you have information you want to share, let’s connect.

Looking ahead, my ultimate goal is to open my own real estate office. This ambition drives me to continually improve and innovate, ensuring that I provide top-notch service and create something that truly resonates with people. I’m excited to bring others along on this journey and would love to collaborate with anyone who’s interested in being part of this success. Let’s connect and make great things happen together!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Reflecting on my journey, three key qualities have been crucial:

1. People-First Approach: Success isn’t about the commission; it’s about focusing on your clients and building real relationships. Always prioritize their needs, and success will follow.

2. Persistence and Patience: Real estate is tough with many ups and downs. Stay positive, learn from setbacks, and keep pushing forward. Set realistic goals and don’t let highs or lows affect your self-worth.

3. Hands-On Learning and Networking: Start from the bottom, gain experience, and learn from mentors. Networking has been vital for me—being able to connect with people and be my authentic self has built strong relationships.

For those starting out, set small goals, seek mentorship, and stay open to feedback. Feel free to connect if you have questions or want to collaborate—I’m here to share what I’ve learned.

All the wisdom you’ve shared today is sincerely appreciated. Before we go, can you tell us about the main challenge you are currently facing?

My biggest challenge is managing my own high expectations. As an entrepreneur, I often feel that any moment not spent working is time wasted, which leads me to push myself excessively, believing that effort directly translates into success.

To overcome this, I’m focusing on finding balance. I remind myself that self-care and strategic thinking are essential for long-term success. While I’m dedicated to ensuring my clients are satisfied and I won’t stop until the job is done, I also recognize the importance of balancing hard work with self-care. My drive to help others and build meaningful relationships keeps me motivated. By practicing authenticity, empathy, active listening, and responsiveness, I provide the best support and build lasting connections, all while maintaining a balanced approach to my personal and professional growth.
