Meet Luna13th

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Luna13th. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Luna13th, we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?

Resilience comes from the root of my soul. It comes from remembering who I am when the matrix tries to convince me otherwise. This resilience I have comes from years of not attaching myself to the harsh experiences I’ve been through.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

Luna13th is a brand. It is the voice of confidence & poise. It is the image of beauty & unapologetic expression. Luna13th is the embodiment of God energy.

I am a musician with many talents. From singing to rapping, producing, and engineering–I have the ability to sit in any seat I must fill to keep my journey going as a professional recording artist. My influences come from the DMV area, Motown records, and Young Money Entertainment. My fans describe my music as “healing”. My writing has no limits, allowing me to share every expression with my listeners. Each song provides an experience of either familiarity or interpersonal evolution. You will first hear yourself in me, but then you will evolve. By listening to my music, you have no choice but to.

With my career comes with side quests of modeling, advertising, and influencing. I appreciate all aspects of being a star & do everything with heart. My portfolios for each are very abundant. You may find them in my social media bios.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Success in my journey required: Self Discovery, Self Love, and Positive Self Talk/Affirmations. Things that shouted me. Me. Me. I. I. I. Cultivating a lifestyle & mentality fit for my very specific and unique experience here was necessary. How could I excel without first knowing who I am? How could I heal without enforcing the idea that I am my first healer? How can I move mountains if I couldn’t convince myself I can move through a tough time? If you want a life of success & happiness, choose yourself. Everyday. That’s a good start.

Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?

Leave me alone. The most impactful thing they did for me was not influencing me at all to be like them. I had the gift of molding myself as a true individual. It’s unnatural thing to have parents that don’t care about being parents. It created a sense of independence I know is necessary for an entrepreneur in my field. I’ve already spent time complaining about who they are, now I rejoice for I am instead.
