We recently connected with Manny Larcher and have shared our conversation below.
Manny, so great to be with you and I think a lot of folks are going to benefit from hearing your story and lessons and wisdom. Imposter Syndrome is something that we know how words to describe, but it’s something that has held people back forever and so we’re really interested to hear about your story and how you overcame imposter syndrome.
It’s a constant work in progress. Imposter syndrome is described as having self-doubt about your intellect, skills, or accomplishments among high-achieving individuals. There’s nothing better than playing the game and not crying about it. I’ve found that doing the work, focusing on helping my customers/clients and having healthy communication with my team is most important. Over time, there is an overwhelming feeling of empathy and gratitude to the people/businesses/brands who have supported you. I’ve found out what I love about what I do world, and what I am good at, and focus on doing that. It’s a constant learning process.
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I enjoy helping businesses and creatives reach their goals. I have over a decade of experience working at the intersection of marketing, tech, and venture capital. In 2017, I cofounded Stopwatch Creative with one of the best designers I knew, Lenny Burkett, and we’ve been lucky to work with some amazing startups, professional athletes, and large enterprises. In 2020, during the pandemic, we launched a software company, Colaeb, to connect businesses with resources – from new customers to investors, mentors, and more. Colaeb has grown to impact businesses all over the world and created incredible partnerships, enabling us to help brands and businesses in a timely manner. What’s most exciting for me in 2024 is the impact I’ve seen and the growth from our customers who are small businesses, artists, tech companies, and large enterprises. I’ve focused my time on utilizing new tools to improve how we are helping Colaeb members while simultaneously prioritizing efficiency and personal health.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that have been most impactful in my journey have been the eagerness to continue learning, curiosity to try new things, and grit to be consistent. I believe being eager, curious, and having grit are three traits that can only help any career professional continue to progress. I believe that this can be further developed by finding your talent and what you are passionate about.
How would you describe your ideal client?
My ideal clients are creatives, business owners, or large enterprises interested in growing their brands. We help them reach new customers and find unique insights for their marketing efforts. If you are currently exploring advertising options on platforms like google or Instagram, then Colaeb is a great option to add value to your existing marketing efforts.
