Meet Pharoah T.k.e Harrington

We were lucky to catch up with Pharoah T.k.e Harrington recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Pharoah T.K.E , we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?

I developed my confidence and self-esteem through a combination of consistent practice, self-reflection, and stepping outside of my comfort zone. By setting small, achievable goals and gradually tackling more challenging tasks, I built a sense of accomplishment. Additionally, I learned to focus on my strengths while actively working on areas for improvement, and surrounding myself with a supportive network helped reinforce a positive mindset. Over time, these experiences allowed me to trust my abilities and maintain a balanced perspective on personal growth.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I was born in Waterloo, Iowa, and as the eldest of five siblings, I developed a vivid imagination early on. My creative inclinations led me to build models inspired by television and film and write my own stories. This passion for storytelling eventually evolved into a career in filmmaking, where I now write, act, direct, and produce.

My dedication to the craft has driven me to establish myself in California’s competitive entertainment industry. As the co-founder of AK Film Group, a YouTube channel where my team and I produce original shorts, I have contributed to a range of creative projects.

Currently, I am expanding my portfolio by developing animated content, producing feature films, and working on a children’s book, a teen-fiction novel, and anime-themed content. My next goal is to become a leading writer in Hollywood and the global entertainment industry.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

The three areas of knowledge that was most impactful for me would be patience, time and building relationships. I learned that time is inevitable to control. We can only manage it with patience. Patience has taught me to don’t chase but build the door and they will come to you. In the world we live in people are to scared to know a person or don’t trust a person unless they grew up in the same neighborhood, gone to the same school. Relationships with people are key because those you become friends with, yes I mean friends with, can lead you to alot of open doors and build something greater than you yourself can imagine.

My advice to everyone on this journey. Be patient. If you believe you will succeed- quote from Earl Nightingale. And go out and find your tribe find your people that have the same goals and mindset as you. Be a friend find a need. Those relationships are the key to success.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

Yes. I’m looking to collaborate with any one in the film industry that is passionate about creating short films, features, or small projects. I have my own script writing consulting business and willing to work and educate anyone interested in screen writing and storytelling.
