Meet Spencer Rich

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Spencer Rich. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Spencer, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?

I have always had a great work ethic towards anything that I loved. When I was growing up it was sports, however, school was not for me. I found what I was passionate about in the gym industry. If you do what you love, hard work is easy. You want to put in the time and effort.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

My primary focus is growing my brand. enrichfit GYM is expanding to our second larger location in North Hollywood, CA. It will change the game as far as how people look at gyms. We strive to keep gym etiquette alive. Our members actually re-rack their weights, wipe equipment down, and let other members work in. We have the best workout equipment you can find in LA. If you want a stress free and friendly environment to workout, please visit our Burbank and (coming soon) North Hollywood locations.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

1. Be a Fitness Professional
Many people running gyms do not have a fitness background with little to no fitness education. How can you educate and change lives when you do not have the knowledge and tools to even change your own?

2. Sell with Integrity
We have full transparency when selling our memberships. We will not lie or manipulate a potential member to make a sale. Unfortunately, this is all too common in today’s corporate fitness industry.

3. Customer Service
Listen to your members needs and exceed their expectations. It is not hard to provide a clean, safe, and friendly environment. Treat people with love and respect while providing an amazing gym to train in and watch your business flourish.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

We are looking to franchise in the future. We are looking to partner with Knowledgeable, service-oriented people who truly live a fitness lifestyle.
