Meet Zaïe

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Zaïe. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Zaïe, thank you for being such a positive, uplifting person. We’ve noticed that so many of the successful folks we’ve had the good fortune of connecting with have high levels of optimism and so we’d love to hear about your optimism and where you think it comes from.

My optimism comes from a stem of things: ranging from other Artists who inspire me, to simple things like being around friends and family. I get my optimism from the environment and people around me; as well as within myself. I have to set a good atmosphere and expectations in order for the good energy to flow freely. A lot of the media and the news is always so negative; but if we choose to focus on the positives in our lives rather than the negatives we can find optimism there.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I am a singer/songwriter based in Atlanta, GA and I am excited to announce my new clothing brand coming soon called “Symm” which stands for Symmetry or Symmetry. The new online exclusive brand will only be featured on my social medias as well as the new website coming soon. The brand will include clothing for all genders as well as, suits, bathing suits, and accessories. The new brand is expected to launch in early 2027; and we are excited to venture into this new entrepreneurial endeavor. Outside of developing new businesses however, I am also a student at Georgia State University; expected to graduate in the next 3 years.
I released my Re-Debut album last year in November and am releasing the ‘Part Two’ or Deluxe album later this fall! This new album will feature more high-energy songs, major collabs, as well as new music videos! So I am excited to start releasing the new singles for this album era as well as do more performances; as I have done the most performances I have ever done, last year in 2025.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Three major skills I learned throughout being an independent artist is that you can never stop planning. Alot of the times we get discouraged or maybe things happen in life that make making music harder but; I think even when a person is unable to create art they should never stop believing IN their art; which includes planning out more creative directions. Another skill or trait I learned is to never stop evolving as a person because the people that are willing to grow and learn are the people that make the best inspirations and role models for others. The last skill I would say is that I have ‘mastered the art of starting over’; as Demi Lovato would say. I have gotten accustomed to moving directions when life moves or just making a concept of art and then putting a pause on it to work on a different concept. In addition to evolving as a person we must be willing to adapt and move the way our life flows; which includes changing things or sometimes just starting from scratch. The moment you can focus on your art enough to pause it for something more passionate is artist growth.

What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?

The most impactful thing my mother did for me was really just support my artistic career. There was some challenges as far as my personal journey is concerned but one thing I must say that remains true is that I have ALWAYS been supported throughout my musical journey. Whether it was taking me to practice for Musicals in school, or driving me an hour away to perform for chorus concerts; I think these simple advantages helped me begin working and developing my artist presence. My mom was always the one telling me that I was very talented and that I could go far if I just stayed focus; and till this day I still take head to those words.
