Meet Jordan Westman

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Jordan Westman a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Jordan, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
Finding your work ethic is a personal journey, it often involves a combination of experiences, influences and personal discovery. Growing from your failures and the ups and downs is a large part of discovering what pushes you. It evolves as you gain more experience and insights, and it’s shaped by the people, situations, and reflections that impact you. This is also true for my experience and how I developed and continue to develop my work ethic. I have had the privilege to observe and work with many disciplined and hard-working people who have poured into my life. People who have taken the time to make me a better person and challenge me in areas of weakness.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
Rubix Creative is a boutique agency that helps businesses with their marketing and branding needs. Ultimately, we aim to help businesses grow by aligning their marketing efforts with their brand values and goals.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Three qualities that significantly contribute to my personal and professional growth are curiosity, resilience, and adaptability. Curiosity drives the desire to explore new ideas and seek out knowledge, fueling continuous learning and innovation. Resilience enables individuals to bounce back from setbacks, maintaining motivation and perseverance in the face of challenges. Adaptability allows one to adjust to changing circumstances and embrace new opportunities, ensuring that growth is not stunted by unforeseen obstacles. Together, these qualities help me foster a mindset that thrives on growth, learning, and evolution.

How would you describe your ideal client?
The perfect marketing client is one who is open-minded, collaborative, and clear about their goals and expectations. They possess a strong understanding of their target market and are willing to invest in strategic initiatives that align with their brand vision. Effective communication and trust are crucial, as they allow for a transparent partnership where feedback is constructive and ideas can flourish. Additionally, they value data-driven insights and are ready to adapt their strategies based on performance metrics. This ideal client fosters a productive relationship that leads to innovative solutions, measurable results, and mutual success.
